Shannon Wilby Eden Events Apprentice Eden Project
Shannon joined the Live Events and Promotions Apprenticeship at the Eden Project
because she wanted to help plan and run a variety of events. During her apprenticeship
Shannon has been involved in Halloween, Christmas and space themed events, weddings,
corporate events, the pasty championships, dog days and much more.
“I love being able to see an event through from start to finish. Taking months to plan
something and making the event the best you can, then seeing everyone’s reactions when it’s
done, always feels like such an amazing achievement. If you are thinking about studying an
apprenticeship at Cornwall College, just go for it, it’s great to get as many qualifications as you
can and the lecturers are so friendly and supportive.”
