In an increasingly busy world, demand for quick, responsive high street vehicle repairs has seen companies like Kwik Fit become national success stories. Our courses help to fill the skills demand for experienced technicians who can operate in a fast-paced garage environment and specialise in keeping vehicles on the road with minimum down time.
You will need to have completed the Level 1 full-time introductory course, before moving on to specialise in service centre mechanical, either full-time or via an apprenticeship. Once you have completed the Level 2 qualification, you will be able to work in the industry in a junior role.
This one-year introduction will explain the systems, components and terminology used in the automotive industry, you will learn how the systems work and how they interact with one another. On completion you will be prepared for the more specialised practical repair, installation and diagnostic elements of further qualifications.

GCSEs in English and maths at grade 4 or above. If you do not meet these entry requirements, we do offer an Entry Level 3 qualification for one year that will then allow you to go on to this diploma.
