If you have a creative streak and love trying out different hairstyles on your family or friends, then a career in hairdressing is ideal for you. A hairdresser’s job is to make their clients look and feel more confident, as well as being incredibly sociable. So if you would like a job in a salon or would love to be your own boss one day, then studying hairdressing at one of our campuses is definitely for you.
To ensure you gain all the skills needed for a career as a hairdresser, you will need to start your studies at Level 2. On successful completion you can go into employment or continue your studies at Level 3.
To be a hairdresser you have to be creative and a great communicator. If you excel in both these things then you will go far. Engaging with your clients is essential if you want them to leave your salon feeling great about themselves and come back time and time again. Being able to interpret what look your client wants into a hairstyle that suits them and they are happy with is a real talent and will give a great sense of job satisfaction. This course will teach how to do all those things and more.
