To ensure you gain all the skills needed for a career as a beauty therapist, you will need to start your studies at Level 2. On successful completion you can go into employment or continue your studies at Level 3.

Eventually you will be providing treatments to paying clients. You will also have the opportunity to develop your work-based skills, working on the salon reception, promoting products and practicing retail services. Regular tutorials and demonstrations from teaching staff and visiting professionals will embed your knowledge, giving you the confidence to practice beauty therapy in paid employment.
To be continually assessed throughout your course through practical assignments and examinations. There will also be a practical and theoretical exam.
