You will study core employability skills through activities that develop your communication and teamwork. You will also improve your maths and English skills. During the course you will undertake an extended work-related programme, including work experience to support you in
building and practicing your employability skills.

In order to succeed on this course you need to be committed to undertaking a work placement or some form of work-related activity.

You’ll go on to:

An apprenticeship, voluntary or paid employment or further study within the College.

PROFILE

Steve Watkinson Team Lead, Vocational and Work-related Studies

Steve has worked for over 24 years in the education sector joining the Cornwall College Group three years ago. He has brought a wealth of experience from 22 years spent teaching in secondary schools where he had posts ranging from classroom teacher to assistant head teacher and has more recently worked in a variety of capacities supporting schools as a behaviour advisor.
