Plastering Diploma Level 2

Plastering is an essential finishing trade within the construction industry. Plastering tasks can be varied and consist of:

  • Internal Plaster Finishes
  • External render Finishes
  • Screeding floors.
  • Installing Sheet Materials

You could in time progress within the industry and deal with more specialist materials like:

  • Specialist External Insulation Systems
  • Venetian Plasters
  • Flowing Screeds
  • Design Screeds.

If you have an eye for detail you will excel in the plastering trade.

Ideal if:

You have previously completed a level 1 Plastering Diploma and are able to draw on skills that have been learnt to date to finish a wider range of walls and floors to a very high standard.

 

You’ll need:

GCSE grade 4 in English and maths to enrol on this course and previous experience through Level 1 Plastering Diploma or other site experience in plastering.

You’ll learn:

Requirements for health and safety.

You will also gain knowledge of the industry as a whole so you understand your place within the industry. You'll learn how to work safely and efficiently to produce internal and external finishes to a high standard.

Learn about the problems you may face when plastering and how to overcome them.

Learn about different techniques and materials used in the plastering
