Katie Trathen Pre-school Assistant Halwin Pre-school
Katie is a practical learner and wanted to get experience at the same time as gaining a qualification, so she started as a Level 2 apprentice. Katie has since progressed on to the Level 3 and has now been offered a full-time position at Halwin Pre-school.
“My job involves working with the children, activity planning and
completing on-line journals. Every day is different and I really enjoy
seeing the children grow and develop. The apprenticeship has given me
a better understanding of early years and knowledge of the job and I
would recommend it to anyone wanting to develop an understanding
of working with children.”
