We offer two options for you to start your studies in the art and design industry depending on your GCSE results. Our Level 3 course and its specialist pathways oers you the choice of university study or employment on successful completion of your course. Our Level 2 course is ideal should your GCSE results not be what you expected.
If you are passionate about art & design and would like a career in the creative industries, our Art & Design courses can help develop your artistic skills and interests. This course is perfect for students who like the practical approach to studying. You will experience many different disciplines including; fine art, illustration, graphics, photography, fashion, textiles and 3D design. On this course you will also visit local galleries and craft businesses, work in teams and on your own.
If you are interested in art and design and would like to learn in a practical way and develop your skills and knowledge in this area, then this course is an excellent choice.

4 GCSEs at grade 3.
By completing hands-on projects and themed assignments that are designed to develop your knowledge and skills within a range of subject areas such as fine art, illustration, graphics, photography, fashion, textiles and 3D. English and maths, up to Level 2, is included in this study programme.

Tim McQuillen-Wright Costume & Set Designer
On completion of his graphic design course Tim went to university
to study theatre design. He is now a set and costume designer and
has worked on a wide range of theatre productions including Shrek,
Ghost, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Wizard of Oz, Moulin
Rouge and many more.
