This course is accredited by City & Guilds and is for anyone in middle or top management wishing to develop knowledge and practice their skills in the work environment at a professional level. You should be responsible for developing and instigating new and amended policy and practice to ensure that your organisation complies with its legal obligations, whilst recognising cost and budgetary constraints.

You must have gained an Occupational Health and Safety NEBOSH Certificate Level 3 or equivalent to enrol on this course.
You will be supported by a mentor through a series of work-based projects, which are undertaken to demonstrate competence against national standards. You will need to allocate approximately 5 hours per week for research and implementation of improved practice required to gain the qualification.
Your mentor will support you through observations, validation of practice and professional discussions.
This course is approximately two years and involves practical demonstrations in the workplace where complex health and safety risks occur.
